All of the major fish finder brands have their pros and cons. The one thing we recommend you prioritize above all else when selecting a fish finder is what do you want it's capability to be?

If you are someone who is looking for a new fish finder for your Walleye boat and don't want to deal with the learning curve of navigating through sonar menus, settings, and options then going with a Garmin fish finder might be a good fit for you.
