Outfit your Walleye boat with the latest trolling motor technology. 2024 is an exciting upcoming year with the release of the Garmin Force Kraken, and Minn Kota trolling motor Quest series lineup. 

Minn Kota Trolling Motor

New for 2024 from Minn Kota is the QUEST series brushless motors. The new QUEST trolling motors are available in the following models:

  • Ultrex
  • Terrova
  • Ulterra
  • Instinct (New Saltwater Model)

New Ulterra Highlights

The Ulterra was completely redesigned in the QUEST lineup and eliminates A LOT of the problems anglers had with them. We made a post awhile back comparing the legacy model versus the new Quest Ulterra that points out all of the new features packed into the unit. 

If you gotta have the convenient auto stow and deploy functionality, Minn Kota really did a nice job redesigning the Ulterra Quest to be hassle-free. Available in 60" and 72" shaft lengths.

Garmin Force Kraken Trolling Motor

The wait is over. Garmin has finally released a trolling motor for the big water Deep V Walleye boats. The new Garmin Force Kraken is now available in 63" and 75" shaft lengths. A few highlights that we think is worthy of pointing out:

  • Dual band GPS for precise location lock (others use single band GPS, you will notice the difference on those calm days).
  • Integrated Livescope bracket... if you like things neat and simple this eliminates the need for a separate pole for your Livescope while the transducer cable goes through the shaft for a clean install.
  • Wireless integration for complete control with Garmin fish finders.
  • The remote is like magic, you can literally point your remote where you want your trolling motor to go and it goes that direction.
