Outboard Winterization

Winterization is available for fishing boats, pontoons, and other boats equipped with outboard motors.

Services are focused on the important maintenance and storage preparation needed before winter.

Equipment We Don't Service

Winterization is not available for sterndrives, inboards, wake boats, or personal watercraft (jet skis).

Our winterization services are specifically designed for outboard-powered boats.

Boat Winterization Includes:

The major maintenance and storage-preparation items are handled in one visit before your boat sits through the North Dakota winter.

  • Fuel stabilizer
  • Engine oil & filter change
  • Lower unit oil change
  • Fuel filter
  • Propeller removal
  • Grease motor zerks
  • Blow out livewell lines
  • Grease trailer wheel bearings
  • Charge and disconnect batteries*

* All ground (negative) battery wires are disconnected and secured with zip ties. Customers are responsible for reconnecting their batteries in the spring.

Pickup & Dropoff

Boat Pickup and Dropoff Around Devils Lake

Convenient for Stored Boats

If your boat is already at a campground or storage facility around Devils Lake, pickup and dropoff may be available for winterization.

This can save an extra trip if your boat is already parked for the season.
