"In a bowl combine 1/2 cup cold water and 1 cup mix. This makes a semi thick batter. Refrigerate until firm (2-3 hours). Preheat oil to 350. Use a melon baller or teaspoon to form a ball about the size of a ping pong. Carefully put hush puppy's in the preheated oil for 3/5 minutes. Fry until golden brown.
