Garmin LiveScope Ice Fishing Bundles Built to Hit the Ice

There are a lot of ways to put together a Garmin LiveScope ice fishing setup. You can buy the electronics from one place, find a shuttle somewhere else, choose a battery, order the necessary mounts and accessories, and put everything together yourself.

Or you can start with a complete system that's already been planned out.

That's the idea behind our Garmin LiveScope Ice Bundles. At Deep V Rigging Company, we work with marine electronics, forward-facing sonar, lithium power systems, and Garmin LiveScope throughout the year. We've taken that experience and used it to put together portable ice fishing packages using components we trust.

Rather than simply putting a collection of parts in a box, our goal is to create a clean, dependable and portable LiveScope ice fishing system that's ready to use when it arrives.

One complete system. We assemble your LiveScope package, carefully pack everything together, and ship it directly to your door. Unbox it, charge the battery, and get ready to hit the ice.
The Deep V Formula

Garmin + Fish Armor + Amped Outdoors

Our LiveScope ice bundles are built around three main components. Each one has a different job, and together they create the portable LiveScope system we want when we're heading onto the ice.

GARMIN

LiveScope Sonar

Garmin LiveScope is the heart of the system. Forward-facing sonar gives you a real-time look at fish, structure, and your lure below the ice.

Instead of simply dropping a lure down a hole and waiting, LiveScope can help you search surrounding water, locate fish, identify structure, and watch how fish respond to your presentation.

You can see a fish approach your lure, watch it rise, see it turn away, and make changes to your presentation based on what you're seeing.

FISH ARMOR

Ice Shuttle

Your shuttle brings the display, LiveScope components, battery, wiring, and accessories together into one portable unit.

That's why we build our systems around Fish Armor shuttles. Ice fishing electronics are constantly being carried, loaded into sleds, moved between holes, and transported in trucks and fish houses.

Fish Armor gives us a solid platform for organizing and protecting the equipment while keeping the finished system portable.

AMPED OUTDOORS

Lithium Power

LiveScope needs dependable power, especially when you're planning to spend a full day on the ice.

We use Amped Outdoors lithium batteries to provide the capacity modern electronics need without unnecessarily adding the weight associated with traditional lead-acid batteries.

The goal is a practical balance between runtime, weight, portability, and performance.

Less Guesswork

Why Buy a Complete Garmin LiveScope Ice Bundle?

Building your own LiveScope ice fishing setup can be fun, but it also means figuring out a lot of little details.

None of those decisions are especially difficult by themselves, but together they can turn a new LiveScope purchase into a project.

Our bundles are designed to eliminate as much of that guesswork as possible. Instead of receiving several unrelated pieces of equipment, you're purchasing a LiveScope ice fishing system planned around components that work well together.

That means less time researching parts and assembling equipment—and more time actually using your LiveScope.

  • Which Garmin display should I buy?
  • Which LiveScope transducer do I need?
  • Which shuttle works with my equipment?
  • How large of a lithium battery should I use?
  • Where should the GLS 10 be mounted?
  • What wiring and connections are required?
  • How do I keep everything organized and portable?
Forward-Facing Sonar

How Does Garmin LiveScope Work for Ice Fishing?

Garmin LiveScope uses a forward-facing sonar transducer to provide a live view of what's happening underwater. For ice fishing, the transducer is mounted to a portable pole that can be lowered through the ice hole.

By rotating the pole, you can change the direction the transducer is looking. This allows you to scan the water around your position rather than only looking directly beneath the hole.

If you see fish or interesting structure away from your current location, you can drill another hole closer to what you're seeing. Once you're fishing, LiveScope lets you watch your lure and the fish around it in real time.

LIVESCOPE FORWARD

Find Them.

Forward view is especially useful for searching. Instead of only looking directly beneath your ice hole, you can scan outward and look for fish or structure around you. Rotate the transducer pole to scan different directions around the hole.

LIVESCOPE DOWN

Fish Them.

Once you're positioned over fish, Down view provides a more vertical perspective beneath your position while retaining the real-time advantages of LiveScope.

Forward helps you find them.
Down helps you fish them.
Choosing Your Setup

Which Garmin LiveScope Ice Bundle Should I Buy?

The best LiveScope ice fishing setup depends on how you fish. Rather than automatically buying the largest display, biggest battery, or most expensive configuration, think about how you'll actually use the system.

PORTABILITY
You Move Frequently

If you're constantly drilling holes, walking, or pulling your equipment in a sled, size and weight matter. A more compact Garmin display paired with an appropriately sized lithium battery can make the complete system easier to move.

SCREEN SIZE
You Want a Larger View

If you spend more time in a permanent or portable fish house, a larger Garmin display may be worth the additional size and power consumption. More screen area can make LiveScope easier and more enjoyable to view.

RUNTIME
You Fish Long Days

If you're on the ice from sunrise to sunset, additional battery capacity may make sense. The ideal battery provides enough runtime for your fishing style without unnecessarily adding weight to your shuttle.

Fishing Systems That Work Together

Why We Build Our Own Garmin LiveScope Ice Bundles

We could simply sell you the individual pieces.

But that's not really what Deep V Rigging Company is about.

Our business is built around putting marine electronics systems together. Throughout the open-water season, that means installing and integrating Garmin electronics, forward-facing sonar, trolling motors, lithium batteries, wiring, networks, and other equipment into boats.

During ice season, the platform changes—but the basic idea doesn't:

Build a system where everything works together.

The Deep V Combination

Garmin provides the sonar technology.

Fish Armor provides the shuttle platform.

Amped Outdoors provides the lithium power.

Deep V Rigging Company brings those components together.

The result is a complete Garmin LiveScope ice fishing system built around equipment we know and work with.

Built for Ice Fishing

A LiveScope Setup You Can Take From Hole to Hole

Portability is one of the biggest considerations when building an ice fishing electronics system.

Your boat doesn't move every time you want to look at another piece of structure. On the ice, you do.

That's why the complete package matters. The Garmin display, LiveScope components, lithium battery, shuttle, and wiring need to function as a single portable system.

A clean shuttle makes it easier to load into your truck, carry into the fish house, put into a sled, and move between holes.

Real-World Use

Built for the Way Ice Anglers Actually Fish

Ice fishing equipment gets used differently than electronics mounted permanently in a boat.

It's carried. It gets cold. It's loaded and unloaded. It's pulled across lakes. It gets moved between holes. It rides in trucks, trailers, sleds, and fish houses.

We keep those realities in mind when putting together our LiveScope ice packages.

Our goal isn't to build the most complicated LiveScope system possible. It's to build one that you'll actually enjoy using.

Clean. Portable. Dependable. Ready to fish.

Frequently Asked Questions

Garmin LiveScope Ice Bundle FAQs

What is included in a Garmin LiveScope Ice Bundle?

The exact equipment depends on the bundle you select. Deep V Rigging Company bundles are built around Garmin LiveScope electronics, a Fish Armor ice shuttle, and an Amped Outdoors lithium battery.

Individual product listings show the specific Garmin display, LiveScope system, battery, shuttle, transducer pole, charger, and other components included with that particular package.

Do Deep V Garmin LiveScope Ice Bundles arrive assembled?

Yes. That's one of the primary reasons we offer these packages. Our LiveScope Ice Bundles are carefully assembled by Deep V Rigging Company before shipment so you don't receive a pile of components that still need to be turned into a usable system.

What do I need to do when my LiveScope Ice Bundle arrives?

It's pretty simple: unbox it, charge your battery, and go ice fishing. We recommend fully charging your Amped Outdoors lithium battery before your first trip.

Do you ship Garmin LiveScope Ice Bundles?

Yes. Our Garmin LiveScope Ice Bundles can be shipped directly to your door. We package the components together so your system arrives as one complete package rather than requiring you to order the major pieces separately.

Does everything ship in one box?

Our LiveScope Ice Bundles are carefully packaged together so your system arrives as one complete package. The goal is to make receiving your new LiveScope system as simple as possible.

Is Garmin LiveScope good for ice fishing?

LiveScope can be an extremely useful tool for ice fishing because it allows you to see fish, structure, and your lure in real time. Forward-facing sonar can also help you scan water away from your current hole, which can be useful when searching for fish or deciding where to drill next.

Can Garmin LiveScope see fish away from my ice hole?

Yes. That's one of the major advantages of using LiveScope Forward while ice fishing. By rotating the transducer, you can scan different directions around your ice hole and look for fish or structure away from your current position.

Usable distance and image quality depend on conditions, settings, depth, transducer orientation, and other factors.

What's the difference between LiveScope Forward and Down for ice fishing?

LiveScope Forward looks outward from the transducer and is particularly useful for scanning surrounding water. LiveScope Down provides a more vertical view beneath your position.

Many ice anglers use Forward when searching for fish and adjust the transducer orientation once they've located the area they want to fish.

What size Garmin screen is best for LiveScope ice fishing?

There isn't one screen size that's best for every angler. Smaller displays can make a LiveScope system lighter and more portable, while larger displays provide more screen area for viewing sonar.

Consider portability, viewing distance, battery consumption, and how you normally fish when choosing your display.

What size battery do I need for Garmin LiveScope ice fishing?

Battery requirements depend on your Garmin display, LiveScope equipment, desired runtime, temperature, and how you use the system.

Larger batteries generally provide more potential runtime but also add size and weight. Our bundles pair LiveScope systems with Amped Outdoors lithium batteries selected to provide a practical balance between runtime and portability.

Why use a lithium battery for Garmin LiveScope?

Lithium batteries are well suited for portable electronics because they can provide substantial usable capacity while keeping weight relatively low. For ice fishing, where you may carry your electronics from hole to hole, reducing unnecessary weight can make a noticeable difference.

Why does Deep V use Fish Armor shuttles?

We want our LiveScope packages built around a shuttle designed for portable fishing electronics. Fish Armor gives us a platform for organizing the display, battery, LiveScope components, wiring, and accessories into one portable package.

We treat the shuttle as the foundation of the complete ice fishing system, not simply something that holds the display.

Why does Deep V use Amped Outdoors batteries?

We've chosen Amped Outdoors lithium batteries for our ice bundles because they allow us to build portable systems with the capacity needed to power modern marine electronics without unnecessarily adding weight.

Can I use my Garmin LiveScope ice fishing system on my boat?

Many of the core Garmin electronics used for an ice fishing LiveScope system can also be used in other applications, but moving equipment between an ice shuttle and a boat depends on your specific Garmin equipment and how your boat is configured.

Is LiveScope only useful for ice fishing?

No. LiveScope is widely used for open-water fishing as well. The primary difference is how the equipment is mounted and powered.

On a boat, the electronics are typically integrated into the boat's power and electronics system. For ice fishing, those same types of components need to become a portable package that can be carried from location to location.

Which Garmin LiveScope Ice Bundle should I choose?

Start with how you fish. If you move constantly, prioritize portability. If you primarily fish from a fish house, a larger display and additional battery capacity may make sense. If you fish long days, consider runtime.

If you're unsure which combination is right for you, contact Deep V Rigging Company before ordering and we can help you compare the available setups.
